Description

REACH Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services that support children, families, and communities. The BCBA will provide direct support to students, teachers, and staff by conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans, and overseeing the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies within the school setting. The BCBA will also play a critical role in staff training and ensuring that interventions promote positive outcomes for students. 

 

  • Key Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments. 
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. 
  • Collaborate closely with school administrators, teachers, intervention specialists, and support staff to implement evidence-based strategies. 
  • Provide supervision, training, and ongoing support to behavior technicians, RBTs, and other team members. 
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to measure treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed. 
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to promote consistency across environments. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. 
  • Stay current with best practices and ethical guidelines in ABA. 

 

  • Qualifications: 
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field. 
  • Current Board Certification as a BCBA through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 
  • Experience developing and overseeing ABA treatment plans. 
  • Experience working with students in school or educational settings, preferably alternative schools. 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • At least [1–2+] years of experience as a BCBA in a school or educational program. 
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or supporting students with emotional/behavioral challenges. 
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
